    Detailed Fee Components

The fee structure is designed to provide comprehensive support for students' academic and living expenses while ensuring affordability through various financial aid schemes:

    • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, library services, and administrative overheads associated with teaching.
    • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted dormitories equipped with essential amenities such as beds, wardrobes, study tables, and internet connectivity.
    • Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the campus cafeteria. This amount is adjusted monthly based on actual consumption.
    • Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution to support students facing financial difficulties or emergencies during their studies.
    • Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university hospital, including consultations, medications, and emergency treatments.
    • Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities, sports facilities, cultural events, and student clubs on campus.
    • Examination Fees: Includes costs for conducting examinations, evaluating answer scripts, issuing certificates, and managing result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple room types in its hostel facilities to cater to diverse preferences and budgets:

    • Single Occupancy Room: ₹80,000/year (includes basic furniture and Wi-Fi).
    • Double Occupancy Room: ₹70,000/year (shared bathroom and common areas).
    • Triple Occupancy Room: ₹60,000/year (similar amenities as double occupancy).

Mess charges are collected upfront at the beginning of each semester and adjusted monthly based on actual usage. The mess offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals prepared by professional chefs following hygiene guidelines.

Rebate policies are available for students who stay outside campus during holidays or participate in study abroad programs. These rebates reduce hostel charges proportionally to the duration of absence.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university recognizes the importance of making quality education accessible to all deserving candidates through various financial assistance mechanisms:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from these categories receive a 50% concession on tuition fees. Additional benefits include scholarships up to ₹1,00,000 per year for meritorious students.
    • EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 25% reduction in tuition fees and are eligible for merit-based scholarships up to ₹75,000 annually.
    • MCM (Migrant Children Merit): Students who have migrated from other states or regions may apply for partial fee waivers based on their circumstances.

To apply for any of these concessions, students must submit relevant documents such as caste certificates, income proofs, and migration certificates to the finance office within the first month of admission. Applications are reviewed by a committee that evaluates eligibility and disburses benefits accordingly.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All payments related to fees must be made through online portals or bank transfers to prevent fraud and ensure transparency. Students can access their payment receipts and track transactions via the student portal.

Payments are due by the 10th day of each semester. Late submissions incur a penalty of ₹500 per day, up to a maximum of ₹2,000. Refunds are processed only upon withdrawal from the program or completion of studies, subject to approval from the finance committee.

In case of withdrawal, students must submit an official application form along with supporting documents within 30 days of notification. Refund processing time is typically 45–60 working days after approval, depending on the payment method used and financial settlement procedures.
