Fee Structure Overview

The total cost of pursuing the Law program at NECD is designed to be accessible and fair, with comprehensive coverage of academic and residential expenses.

Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, library access, and academic resources. This fee is fixed for the entire duration of the program.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in air-conditioned rooms with shared facilities. Hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24-hour security.

Mess Advance: Paid at the beginning of each semester to cover meal expenses. The mess charges are included in this amount.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution towards supporting underprivileged students and organizing cultural events.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided on campus by a dedicated medical center.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports student sports activities, fitness programs, and extracurricular events.

Examination Fees: Covers the cost of conducting semester examinations and maintaining exam centers.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Our campus offers multiple hostel options with varying amenities:

• Single Occupancy Rooms: 40000 INR/month
• Double Occupancy Rooms: 35000 INR/month
• Triple Occupancy Rooms: 30000 INR/month

The mess operates on a daily billing system with meals served three times a day. Monthly charges include:

• Breakfast: 25 INR
• Lunch: 40 INR
• Dinner: 40 INR

Rebate policies are available for students who do not use the mess facilities or take leave during the month.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

We offer financial assistance to meritorious and economically disadvantaged students:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver upon submission of valid certificates
• EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fee
• MCM (Meritorious Class Merit): 25% discount on tuition fee for top-performing students

Eligibility criteria include:

• Annual family income below 8 lakhs
• Academic performance above 80%
• Valid caste/identity certificates

The application process requires submission of documents like income certificates, mark sheets, and bank statements.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid within the first week of the semester. Late payments attract a penalty of 1000 INR per day. Refunds are processed only upon withdrawal from the university and are subject to verification by the finance department.

Refund policy includes:

• Full refund if withdrawal occurs before 30 days of admission
• 75% refund after 30 days but before 60 days
• No refund after 60 days of admission
