    Detailed Fee Components

Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, laboratory sessions, and access to digital learning resources. It is charged per semester and includes faculty salaries, course materials, and infrastructure maintenance.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges vary based on room type. Single occupancy rooms are available for students seeking privacy, while shared rooms accommodate two or more residents. Additional amenities include internet access, laundry services, and 24/7 security.

Mess Advance: Students pay an advance for meals provided in the campus mess. This ensures regular consumption of nutritious food and helps manage billing efficiently. The amount is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual usage.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal contribution towards student welfare activities, including cultural events, sports competitions, and health initiatives. Funds are managed by the student council and distributed according to approved proposals.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided on campus, including consultations with doctors, medicine distribution, and emergency care facilities.

Gymkhana Fee: Supports recreational and fitness programs offered through the gymkhana department. Students gain access to gymnasiums, indoor sports halls, and outdoor playing fields.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, result processing, and grade verification.

Other Miscellaneous Charges: Includes charges for library usage, printing services, transportation, and additional facilities that enhance the overall campus experience.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

P K University Shivpuri offers multiple room types to accommodate diverse preferences and budgets:

    • Single Occupancy Room: Fully furnished with a bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, and Wi-Fi. Ideal for students who value privacy and comfort.
    • Double Occupancy Room: Shared between two students with similar amenities as single rooms. Cost-effective option for students looking to split expenses.
    • Triple Occupancy Room: Shared among three residents, offering an economical alternative without compromising on basic facilities.

The mess billing system is transparent and automated:

    1. Monthly Advance Payment: Students pay a fixed amount monthly for meals, which is adjusted at the end of the month based on actual consumption.
    2. Daily Meal Tracking: Each student receives a smart card to swipe during meals. The system tracks daily usage and calculates balances accordingly.
    3. Rebate Policies: Students who miss meals due to illness or travel can apply for rebates, subject to verification by hostel authorities.
