    Fee Structure Components Explained

Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, academic materials, and administrative support for each semester. This fee includes access to online resources, library services, and faculty guidance.

Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with shared facilities including Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security. Room types include single, double, and triple occupancy options.

Mess Advance: A prepayment for monthly meals during the semester. The mess system offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes prepared by professional chefs following strict hygiene standards.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributes to welfare activities for students, including emergency assistance, scholarships, and cultural events. This fund is managed by the student council and overseen by the administration.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided within the campus medical center, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and first aid treatments.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports physical fitness programs, sports facilities, and recreational activities on campus. Members receive access to gymnasiums, indoor games, and outdoor sports grounds.

Examination Fees: Covers the costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, result processing, and certificate issuance.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides well-maintained hostels with modern amenities. Room categories include:

    • Single Occupancy Room: INR 20,000 per semester for a private room with attached bathroom.
    • Double Occupancy Room: INR 15,000 per semester shared between two students.
    • Triple Occupancy Room: INR 12,000 per semester shared among three students.

Mess billing is based on actual consumption with monthly charges deducted from the advance paid. Rebate policies are available for students who maintain good academic standing or participate in extracurricular activities.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several financial assistance schemes:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fee and 50% rebate on hostel charges for eligible students.
    • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fee and 25% rebate on hostel charges.
    • MCM (Minority Community): Full waiver on tuition fee and partial rebate on hostel charges.

Applications for these benefits must be submitted along with supporting documents during the admission process or as part of the annual review cycle. Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply for need-based scholarships administered by the university and external foundations.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Payment can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI platforms. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 500 per day after the due date.

Refunds are processed only in cases of withdrawal from the program or transfer to another institution. The refund policy specifies that 90% of tuition fee will be refunded if the withdrawal is made within 15 days of admission, while no refund is given after this period unless there are exceptional circumstances approved by the administration.
