    Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: This is the primary component of the fee structure and covers instruction, curriculum development, laboratory maintenance, and faculty compensation. It is collected per semester and reflects the high-quality education provided by our institution.

Hostel Rent: Students are required to pay a fixed amount for hostel accommodation, which includes utilities such as electricity, water, internet, and security services. The rent varies based on room type and amenities offered.

Mess Advance: This fee covers the initial cost of meals provided by the university's mess facilities. Students are required to pay a monthly advance, which is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual fee contributes to the welfare and development activities of the student community, including scholarships, cultural events, and emergency support.

Medical Fees: This component covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center, including consultations, vaccinations, and minor treatments.

Gymkhana Fees: These fees fund sports and recreational activities, including gym access, sports equipment maintenance, and organizing inter-college events.

Examination Fees: This fee covers the costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various hostel accommodation options to suit different preferences and budgets. Hostels are equipped with modern amenities including Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, study rooms, and 24/7 security services.

Room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, triple occupancy, and quad occupancy. The cost for each type varies based on amenities and location within the campus.

The mess system provides nutritious meals to all students, with multiple dining options including vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. Monthly mess bills are calculated based on consumption, and an advance payment is required at the beginning of each month.

Rebate policies are available for students who take leave during weekends or holidays. Students can also opt for meal plans that offer discounts for regular attendance and participation in university events.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several financial assistance programs to support deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. These include fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships based on academic performance and financial need.

Eligibility Criteria: Fee waivers are available for students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories with an annual family income below INR 2 lakh. EWS category students with an annual income below INR 4 lakh are eligible for partial concessions.

Benefits: Students who qualify for fee waivers receive a complete waiver of tuition fees and hostel charges. Those eligible for concessions may receive up to 50% reduction in fees, depending on their category and income slab.

Application Process: Interested students must submit an application form along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and Aadhaar cards. The application is reviewed by the financial aid committee, and approved candidates are notified via email or SMS.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

The payment of fees is done through online banking, net banking, or debit/credit card transactions. Students can also make payments at designated counters on campus with proper receipts for future reference.

Payment Deadlines: Fees must be paid by the specified deadlines to avoid late fees and ensure smooth enrollment processes. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 500 per day, starting from the due date.

Refund Policy: Refunds are processed in case of withdrawal or transfer of students. The refund policy ensures that all dues are cleared before processing refunds, including hostel rent, mess charges, and any outstanding fees.

Students who withdraw from the program must submit a formal application along with supporting documents. Refunds are processed within 30 days of approval, subject to deductions for administrative costs and penalties.
