    Fee Components Explained

    • Tuition Fee: Covers instruction costs, laboratory access, and administrative overheads for the entire academic year. The fee includes course materials, lab manuals, and digital resources.
    • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with shared facilities such as common rooms, laundry services, and maintenance support.
    • Mess Advance: A prepayment towards monthly meal expenses, which is adjusted at the end of each semester based on actual consumption.
    • Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution to support financially disadvantaged students through emergency assistance and scholarships.
    • Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the campus medical center, including consultations, vaccinations, and minor treatments.
    • Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities, sports events, cultural programs, and student organizations operating on campus.
    • Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations, including proctoring, answer sheet evaluation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides comfortable accommodation in purpose-built hostels designed to meet the needs of students from diverse backgrounds. Hostel rooms are equipped with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and internet connectivity.

There are three types of hostel rooms available: Single Occupancy (₹30,000/year), Double Occupancy (₹25,000/year), and Triple Occupancy (₹20,000/year). Each room includes access to common areas like lounges, study halls, and recreational spaces.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, where students pay an advance amount that is adjusted according to their actual consumption during the month. Meals are served in three sittings: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with vegetarian options provided for all meals.

Rebate policies are available for students who leave campus temporarily due to family emergencies or academic commitments. The rebate period must be approved by the hostel administration and is credited back into the student's account after verification.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university recognizes the financial challenges faced by meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and offers various fee waiver schemes to ensure accessibility to quality education.

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories are eligible for 100% fee waivers upon submission of valid certificates issued by competent authorities.
    • EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 50% discount on tuition fees, subject to verification of income and other supporting documents.
    • MCM (Minority Community Members): Students from minority communities may apply for partial fee concessions based on income criteria set by the government.

Additionally, merit-based scholarships are awarded annually to top-performing students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence and leadership qualities. These scholarships range from ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 per annum and are announced through the official website of the university.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fee payments must be made through online banking or debit/credit cards via the university's official portal. Students are required to complete payment within the stipulated deadline to avoid late fees and penalty charges.

Payment deadlines vary for each semester but generally fall between the first week of the month preceding the start of classes. Late payments attract a fixed penalty of ₹500 per day until the balance is cleared.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students must submit an application form along with supporting documents within two weeks of the decision. Refunds are processed according to the following schedule:

    • Withdrawal before 30 days of commencement: Full refund minus ₹2,000 processing charges.
    • Withdrawal between 30 and 60 days: Refund of 80% after deduction of ₹5,000 processing fees.
    • Withdrawal after 60 days: No refund unless approved by the university administration under exceptional circumstances.
