    Hostel & Mess Charges

Reva University Bangalore provides comfortable and well-facilitated hostels for students. The hostel rooms are available in single and double occupancy options, with shared bathrooms and common areas. The hostel charges include:

    • Single Occupancy Room: INR 25,000 per semester
    • Double Occupancy Room: INR 20,000 per semester

The mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed. Students are required to pay a mess advance at the beginning of each semester, which is adjusted based on actual consumption. The average daily mess charge is INR 100 per meal.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly. Students must submit a request for rebate to the hostel authority, and the rebate is calculated based on the number of days of non-consumption.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial aid options to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories are eligible for a 50% fee waiver.
    • EWS Category: Students from the EWS category are eligible for a 25% fee concession.
    • MCM Category: Students from the MCM category are eligible for a 10% fee concession.

The eligibility criteria for fee waivers and concessions are based on income slabs and family background. Students must submit the necessary documents to the finance department for verification.

Additionally, the university offers merit-based scholarships for top-performing students. The scholarship amount ranges from 25% to 50% of the total fee, depending on the student's academic performance and extracurricular achievements.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to pay the fees within the stipulated time frame. Late payments attract a penalty of 5% per month. The payment can be made through online transfer, demand draft, or cash.

The refund policy is as follows:

    • Students who withdraw from the program before the start of the semester are eligible for a refund of the tuition fee after deducting a processing fee of INR 1,000.
    • Students who withdraw after the start of the semester are eligible for a refund of the remaining fees after deducting the applicable charges.
    • Refunds are processed within 30 days of the withdrawal request.

Students must submit a written request for refund along with the necessary documents to the finance department. The refund is processed through the university's official channels, and the amount is credited to the student's bank account.
