    Fee Components Explained

The total fee structure for the Marketing program includes several components designed to cover various aspects of student life and education:

Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, laboratory access, and academic resources. It is paid per semester and reflects the quality of faculty and facilities provided.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation is provided in fully-furnished hostels with amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, and 24/7 security. The rent includes basic utilities and maintenance.

Mess Advance: Students pay an advance for meals during the semester. This ensures that dining services are adequately funded and maintained throughout the academic year.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students facing financial difficulties and provides emergency assistance when needed.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus, including consultations with doctors and access to medical supplies.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports extracurricular activities and sports programs that promote physical fitness and team-building among students.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

RKDF INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT provides comfortable accommodation in well-maintained hostels with modern amenities. The hostel charges vary depending on room type:

    • Single Occupancy Room: ₹20,000 per semester
    • Double Occupancy Room: ₹18,000 per semester
    • Triple Occupancy Room: ₹16,000 per semester

The mess billing system is transparent and efficient. Students pay an advance for meals each semester, which is adjusted at the end of the term based on actual consumption. Rebate policies are available for students who do not use the mess facility regularly.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The institute offers various fee waiver schemes to support deserving students:

SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees. Additional concessions may be available based on family income.

EWS Category: Students from economically weaker sections receive a 25% concession on tuition fees. Income slabs for eligibility are as follows: ₹1,00,000 - ₹2,00,000 (25%), ₹2,00,000 - ₹3,00,000 (50%).

MCM Category: Merit-cum-Means students receive a 10% concession on tuition fees. Eligibility is based on academic performance and family income.

Applications for fee concessions must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and residence proofs.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to make payments before the start of each semester. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late fees applicable beyond the specified dates:

Late Fee: ₹1,000 per day for overdue payments.

The refund policy is transparent and fair. Students can apply for refunds upon withdrawal from the program. Refunds are processed within 30 days of submission of a valid request, subject to deductions for administrative costs and outstanding dues.
