    Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: This is the primary component of the fee structure and covers instruction, academic resources, and access to digital libraries and learning platforms.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation is provided for students residing on campus. The rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, and basic amenities.

Mess Advance: Students pay an advance for their mess consumption during the semester. This amount is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A fund established to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies.

Medical Fees: Covers medical services available within the campus health center.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational and sports activities on campus.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting examinations, including evaluation and result processing.

Other Charges: Includes miscellaneous expenses such as event organization, campus maintenance, and administrative overheads.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

Students residing on campus are assigned to hostels based on availability and preferences. The hostel rooms come in different categories, including single, double, and triple occupancy options. Each room is equipped with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The mess charges vary depending on the type of accommodation and meal plan chosen by the student. Meals are served daily from breakfast to dinner, and students can choose between standard and premium meal plans. The billing system is automated, with deductions made from the mess advance at the end of each semester.

Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or miss meals due to academic commitments. These rebates are subject to approval by the hostel administration and must be applied for in advance.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial assistance schemes to support deserving students. The eligibility criteria for these schemes include family income, category (SC/ST/PwD, EWS, MCM), and academic performance.

    Income Slabs for Scholarships:

    • SC/ST/PwD: Families with an annual income of up to ₹3 lakhs are eligible for full fee waivers.
    • EWS: Families with an annual income of up to ₹6 lakhs receive partial fee concessions.
    • MCM: Single parent or married couple with no income are eligible for full fee waivers.

The application process involves submitting the necessary documents, including income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and academic records. The scholarship committee reviews applications and notifies students about approval status within two weeks of submission.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees must be paid before the start of each semester, with specific deadlines announced by the finance department. Late payments attract a penalty fee of ₹500 per day until the full amount is settled.

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program during the academic year. Refunds are processed after deducting administrative charges and any pending dues. Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing, along with supporting documents, to the administration office.

For students who wish to take a break from studies or transfer to another institution, the refund policy allows for partial refunds subject to approval by the university authorities.
