    Hostel & Mess Charges

    The hostel facilities at S S S S S P U Government Polytechnic are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning, Wi-Fi connectivity, common rooms, and 24/7 security. Hostels offer different room types:

    • Single Occupancy Room: Rs. 25000/month
    • Double Occupancy Room: Rs. 15000/month
    • Triple Occupancy Room: Rs. 10000/month

    Mess charges vary depending on the meal plan chosen by students. A standard monthly mess advance is Rs. 15000, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    Rebate policies are in place for students who opt for leave during specific periods or reside outside campus temporarily. These rebates are calculated based on the number of days absent from hostel accommodation.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

    The university offers various financial aid options to deserving students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver is granted to students belonging to these categories with valid certificates.
    • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for students from economically weaker sections with income below Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
    • MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% fee concession for students from minority communities recognized by the government.

    Eligibility criteria are strictly enforced, and applications must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

    Fees can be paid online through net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI. The deadline for fee payment is the first week of each semester to avoid late fees.

    For late payments, a penalty of Rs. 100 per day is applicable beyond the due date. Refund policies are outlined in the university regulations, allowing students to withdraw from the course within a specified period and receive refunds after deducting administrative charges.
