    Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel system at SAM College offers various room configurations to accommodate different student needs:

    • Single Occupancy Rooms: Private rooms for individual students with attached bathroom facilities.
    • Double Occupancy Rooms: Shared rooms for two students with shared common areas and bathroom facilities.
    • Triple Occupancy Rooms: Shared rooms for three students with communal spaces and bathroom facilities.
    • Quadruple Occupancy Rooms: Shared rooms for four students, ideal for budget-conscious students seeking social interaction.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly cycle, allowing students to choose meal plans based on their preferences. Options include standard meals, vegetarian-only, non-vegetarian options, and special dietary accommodations. Rebate policies are available for students who maintain good attendance and academic performance.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial aid is available to eligible students through various schemes:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fees and partial reimbursement of hostel rent and mess charges.
    • EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees and full reimbursement of hostel rent and mess charges.
    • MCM (Minority Community Members): 30% waiver on tuition fees and full reimbursement of hostel rent and mess charges.

Eligibility for these financial aid options is determined based on income slabs, caste certificates, and disability documentation. Students must submit applications along with required documents during the admission process or within the first month of enrollment.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

The payment procedures require students to complete online transactions by specified deadlines. Late fees are applied for payments made after the due date, with rates varying based on the delay period:

    • Within 7 days of deadline: 5% late fee
    • Within 14 days of deadline: 10% late fee
    • Beyond 14 days: 15% late fee

The refund policy outlines conditions under which partial or full refunds may be granted upon withdrawal from the program:

    • Withdrawal within first month: Full refund minus processing charges.
    • Withdrawal between first and third month: 70% refund minus processing charges.
    • Withdrawal beyond third month: No refund unless due to medical reasons or other exceptional circumstances.

Students are encouraged to submit withdrawal requests well in advance to allow time for processing and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
