    Admissions

    Admission Process

The admission process for the Supply Chain Management program at SAM College of Management and Technology is highly competitive and structured to ensure merit-based selection. The primary pathway involves qualifying through either JEE Advanced or JEE Main followed by state-level engineering entrance exams, depending on the candidate's eligibility.

Applicants must first complete an online application form available on our official website between January and February each year. The application requires personal details, academic history, contact information, and upload of scanned documents including 10th and 12th mark sheets, passport-size photographs, and caste certificates if applicable.

After submitting the application, candidates are required to appear for the qualifying entrance examination, which usually takes place in May. Based on their performance, a merit list is prepared according to the ranking system established by the conducting body. Candidates must then participate in the counseling rounds where they can choose preferred institutions based on their rank and available seats.

The final step involves seat acceptance, wherein candidates who have been allotted seats must confirm their admission by paying the required fees within specified deadlines. Once confirmed, candidates are enrolled in the program and become eligible to attend orientation sessions and begin preparation for their academic journey.

    Preparation Advice for Aspirants

For candidates aiming to secure admission into our Supply Chain Management program, strategic preparation is essential. It is recommended that students begin preparing at least one year before the exam date, dedicating time to each subject based on their strengths and weaknesses.

Focus on mastering core concepts in physics, chemistry, and mathematics since these form the foundation of engineering education. Regular practice tests and mock exams help improve speed and accuracy while identifying areas needing improvement. Additionally, staying updated with current affairs helps in understanding how supply chain issues relate to broader economic trends and policy changes.

When filling choices during counseling, prioritize institutions based on past rank trends and personal preferences. Consider factors such as location, campus infrastructure, faculty quality, and industry connections when making selections. Remember that seat allocation depends not only on rank but also on availability in preferred categories.

Finally, ensure all documents are ready well in advance to avoid last-minute complications. Keep a record of important dates, including application deadlines, exam schedules, counseling rounds, and payment procedures. This proactive approach significantly increases the chances of successful admission into the program.
