Admission Process Overview

The admission process for the Finance program at SANGHVI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND SCIENCE PGDM is competitive and merit-based. Applications are accepted through various pathways, including national-level entrance exams like JEE Advanced or state-level exams like JEE Main.

Prospective students must complete an online application form available on our official website. The form requires personal details, academic history, and preferred program options. Applicants are also required to upload scanned copies of their 10th and 12th-grade certificates, mark sheets, and other relevant documents.

After submitting the application, candidates must appear for a written examination conducted by the institute. The exam consists of sections covering Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness. Shortlisted candidates are then called for a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

Counseling Process and Seat Allocation

The counseling process is conducted in multiple rounds based on the merit list prepared after the entrance exam. Candidates must participate in online seat allocation through the official counseling portal.

Candidates who wish to secure seats in specific categories (General, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD) must fill their preferences carefully. Each category has a separate merit list, and seats are allocated accordingly based on rank, preference, and availability.

The Verbal Ability section focuses on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and sentence correction. Regular reading of newspapers and magazines is recommended to enhance comprehension skills.

General Awareness tests knowledge of current events, static GK, and business news. Staying updated with daily newspapers and monthly magazines like Yojana or Pratiyogita Darpan is essential for success in this section.

For the GD/PI round, aspirants should focus on developing communication skills, confidence, and awareness about current affairs and financial topics. Participating in group discussions and mock interviews can help build confidence and improve performance.
