    Fee Components Explained

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, library resources, and other academic services. It is divided into two semesters with no additional charges for course materials or software licenses.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in the institute's residential facilities. The hostel rooms are categorized into single, double, triple, and quad occupancy options with varying rent rates.

Mess Advance: A fixed monthly fee paid at the beginning of each semester to cover food expenses for the entire duration. This amount is adjusted quarterly based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal contribution towards student welfare activities, including health check-ups, cultural events, and academic scholarships.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the institute's medical center, including consultations, immunizations, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational facilities like gyms, sports grounds, and cultural activities that enhance student life quality.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting semester-end examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The institute offers several hostel options catering to different preferences and budgets. Rooms are available in single, double, triple, and quad occupancy arrangements with modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, AC units, and study spaces.

Mess charges are structured on a monthly basis and include three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Students can choose between standard and premium meal plans based on their dietary requirements. The mess billing system ensures transparency with monthly statements sent to students' mobile phones.

Rebate policies are applicable for students who stay home during weekends or holidays. These rebates are calculated proportionally based on the number of days spent outside campus.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The institute offers various financial aid options to deserving students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible candidates receive 100% fee waiver based on valid certificates issued by competent authorities.
    • EWS Category: Students from economically weaker sections get a 50% concession in tuition fees upon submission of income certificate.
    • MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): These students receive full fee waiver if they meet the eligibility criteria including parental income limits and migration status documentation.

All applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents within the first week of admission. The selection committee reviews each application and approves grants based on verified information.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to complete payment within 10 days of receiving the fee notice. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹500 per day beyond the deadline. Payment methods include online transfer, net banking, and cash at the finance office.

In case of withdrawal or discontinuation of studies, students can apply for refund according to the following schedule:

    • Withdrawal before 30 days: Full refund minus administrative charges
    • Withdrawal between 31-60 days: 75% refund minus administrative charges
    • Withdrawal after 60 days: 50% refund minus administrative charges

Refunds are processed within 30 working days of receiving the complete application and supporting documents. Students must submit a formal letter of withdrawal along with bank details for processing.
