    Fee Components Explained

    Tuition Fee

The tuition fee covers access to lectures, laboratory sessions, library resources, and academic support services. It ensures that students receive quality instruction from experienced faculty members and have access to modern educational infrastructure.

    Hostel Rent

Hostel accommodation is provided within the campus for all students, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for learning. Room types include single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy options with shared amenities such as bathrooms, common rooms, and study areas.

    Mess Advance

The mess advance covers food expenses for the semester and is collected at the beginning of each academic term. Students can opt for different meal plans based on their preferences and dietary requirements.

    Student Benevolent Fund

This fund supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies during their stay at the college. Contributions are voluntary, but encouraged to build a community support system among peers.

    Medical Fees

Medical fees cover healthcare services provided by the on-campus medical center, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and basic treatments. Students are advised to maintain health insurance coverage for comprehensive care.

    Gymkhana Fees

The gymkhana fees support recreational activities and sports facilities available to students. These include access to indoor games, outdoor sports grounds, and fitness equipment provided on campus.

    Examination Fees

Examination fees cover the cost of conducting semester-end exams, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing. Additional charges may apply for supplementary or revaluation requests.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

Students can choose from various hostel room types based on their preferences and budget constraints:

    • Single Occupancy Room (INR 80,000/year)
    • Double Occupancy Room (INR 60,000/year)
    • Triple Occupancy Room (INR 40,000/year)

The mess billing system is managed through an online portal where students can track their consumption and make payments. Monthly bills are generated based on actual usage, ensuring transparency and fair pricing.

Rebate policies are available for students who take leave or are absent due to valid reasons. Rebates are calculated proportionally based on the number of days missed and are processed automatically by the system.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The college offers several financial assistance schemes to support meritorious and economically disadvantaged students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for eligible students with income below INR 2 lakhs per annum
    • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for students with income between INR 2-4 lakhs per annum
    • MCM (Minority Community Students): 25% fee concession for students from minority communities

Eligibility criteria include income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates if applicable. Applications must be submitted along with supporting documents during the admission process.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid through online payment modes such as net banking, debit cards, or credit cards. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 1,000 per month until full payment is received.

Refunds are processed according to the university guidelines and are subject to approval by the finance department. Students must submit refund applications within one month of withdrawal from the institution. Refund amounts are credited back to the original payment account after verification.
