The hostel facility at Shivalik College Of Engineering offers comfortable living conditions with modern amenities. Hostel rooms are categorized into different types based on occupancy:
The mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed daily. Students pay a monthly advance of Rs. 2,500 to cover their meal expenses for one month. The actual bill is adjusted at the end of each month based on consumption.
Rebate policies are available for students who miss meals due to valid reasons such as illness or travel. A maximum of two meals per week can be waived off without prior notice, provided that documentation is submitted to the hostel office within 48 hours.
The college offers various financial aid options for students from economically weaker sections:
Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs, with families earning less than Rs. 4 lakh annually qualifying for full concessions. Students must submit relevant documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, and Aadhaar cards during the admission process.
All fee payments must be made through online banking or debit/credit cards. The college accepts payments via NEFT, RTGS, UPI, and credit/debit card transactions. Students are required to complete payment within 15 days of the start of the semester.
Late fees of Rs. 1,000 per month are charged for delayed payments beyond the deadline. However, students facing genuine hardships can apply for a waiver by submitting an affidavit and supporting documents to the finance department.
Refunds are processed according to the following rules:
Refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 30 working days of submission. In case of disputes, students can escalate the matter to the finance department or the principal's office for resolution.
