Fee Components

Tuition Fee: The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, academic resources, and access to university facilities. It is divided into two semesters, with the total amount payable at the beginning of each semester.

Hostel Rent: The hostel rent covers accommodation in university-hosted dormitories. The rent is subject to periodic adjustments based on inflation and maintenance costs.

Mess Advance: The mess advance is a prepayment for meals during the semester. It is refundable upon the completion of the semester, subject to the actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: This fund supports students who face financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary and are used to provide assistance to students in need.

Medical Fees: The medical fees cover access to on-campus healthcare facilities and basic medical services. This includes consultations, diagnostic tests, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: The gymkhana fees provide access to sports and fitness facilities on campus. These fees support the maintenance and operation of sports complexes and fitness centers.

Examination Fees: The examination fees cover the cost of conducting exams, evaluating papers, and issuing certificates. These fees are subject to changes based on the number of subjects and the complexity of the exams.

Library Fees: The library fees provide access to academic resources, including books, journals, and digital databases. These fees support the maintenance and expansion of the library's collection.

Computer Lab Fees: The computer lab fees cover access to computer labs and software resources. These fees support the maintenance and upgrading of computer facilities.

Other Facilities: The other facilities fee covers access to additional campus services, including Wi-Fi, printing services, and administrative support.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides accommodation in well-maintained hostels that are equipped with modern amenities. The hostel rooms are available in different categories, including single, double, and triple occupancy. The rent for each category varies based on the facilities provided.

For mess charges, students are required to pay a monthly advance that covers their meal expenses. The mess is operated by the university and provides three meals a day. The menu is planned to ensure nutritional balance and dietary variety. Students can also opt for special dietary arrangements upon request.

Rebate policies are available for students who are absent for a certain period due to academic or personal reasons. The rebate is calculated based on the number of days of absence and is subject to approval by the hostel authorities.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The eligibility criteria for these financial aids are based on income slabs and other factors.

SC/ST/PwD Concession: Students belonging to SC/ST or PwD categories are eligible for a 50% concession on tuition fees. The concession is subject to verification of the relevant certificates.

EWS Concession: Economically Weaker Section students are eligible for a 25% concession on tuition fees. The eligibility is determined based on the family income and other factors.

MCM (Meritorious and Merit-based Concession): Students who have excelled in their academic performance are eligible for a 10% concession on tuition fees. The merit is based on the rank obtained in the qualifying examination.

The application process for these financial aids is conducted online through the university's official portal. Students are required to submit the necessary documents and proof of eligibility. The university reviews the applications and disburses the financial aid based on the available budget and the number of applicants.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

The payment of fees is to be made through the university's online portal or at the designated bank branches. The university provides detailed instructions and guidelines for the payment process to ensure a smooth transaction.

Students are required to pay the fees by the specified deadline to avoid late fees and penalties. The late fees are calculated at 1% per month on the outstanding amount. Students who fail to pay the fees on time may face restrictions on their academic activities.

The refund policy of the university is designed to ensure that students receive their refunds in a timely and efficient manner. Refunds are processed for students who withdraw from the university or who are eligible for refunds based on specific conditions.

The refund is calculated based on the amount paid and the period of attendance. Students who withdraw from the university are eligible for a refund of the unutilized portion of the fees, subject to the deduction of administrative charges and other applicable fees.

The university ensures that the refund process is transparent and that students receive their refunds within 30 days of the application. The refund is processed through the same payment method used for the original payment.
