The admission process for the Philosophy program at The Dhamma Dipa International Buddhist University South Tripura is designed to identify students who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, and potential for meaningful contribution to the philosophical community.

Applicants must have completed their 12th grade or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 60% in any stream. Candidates are required to appear for the university's own entrance examination, which consists of two stages: an objective test and a subjective assessment. The objective test evaluates basic reasoning, analytical skills, general knowledge, and comprehension abilities. The subjective component includes writing essays on philosophical topics and demonstrating critical thinking.
