    Component-wise Explanation of Fee Structure

Tuition Fee: This is the primary component covering academic instruction, access to campus facilities, and administrative services. It includes access to libraries, laboratories, digital resources, and faculty mentorship.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation is provided in well-maintained hostel complexes with shared rooms and common areas. The rent covers basic amenities such as bedding, furniture, utilities, and maintenance.

Mess Advance: Students pay an advance for mess charges to ensure smooth operation of the dining facility. This amount is adjusted at the end of each semester based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee contributes to a fund that supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies during their studies.

Medical Fees: Covers access to on-campus medical services, including consultations, basic treatments, and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports events, fitness centers, and campus cultural programs.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations, including invigilation and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities are designed to provide comfortable living conditions for students. There are three types of rooms available: single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy, each with varying rent prices.

For mess charges, students receive monthly billing statements based on consumption, with adjustments made quarterly. Rebates are available for students who opt out of the mess or use it less frequently.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several fee waivers and concessions to eligible students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from these categories receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a 50% rebate on hostel charges.
    • EWS Category: A 50% waiver on tuition fees and a 25% rebate on hostel charges.
    • MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): 100% waiver on tuition fees and partial hostel charge rebate based on income slabs.

Applications for these benefits must be submitted with supporting documents such as caste certificates, income proofs, and disability certificates. The university evaluates each application based on eligibility criteria and approves accordingly.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made through net banking, credit/debit cards, or bank transfers. Late payments incur a late fee of 10% per month until the balance is cleared.

If a student withdraws from the program, refunds are processed according to the university's refund policy:

    • Withdrawal within one week: Full refund minus administrative charges.
    • Withdrawal between one week and one month: 80% refund minus administrative charges.
    • Withdrawal after one month: No refund is issued.

All refunds are processed within 30 working days of the withdrawal application being approved.
