    Detailed Explanation of Fee Components

Tuition Fee: This covers instruction, access to libraries, laboratories, and academic resources. It includes charges for faculty services, infrastructure maintenance, and administrative support.

Hostel Rent: Accommodation fees are collected separately from the tuition fee. Hostels provide secure living environments with basic amenities including study rooms, common areas, and 24/7 security.

Mess Advance: A fixed amount charged upfront to cover monthly mess expenses. This ensures students can access meals without immediate payment issues.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributions support student welfare programs, emergency assistance, and scholarships for deserving candidates.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus including consultations, medicines, and first aid facilities.

Gymkhana Fees: These funds support extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural events, and student organizations.

Examination Fees: Charged for conducting end-of-semester exams, practical assessments, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

Truba College offers multiple hostel options catering to different needs and budgets. Rooms are available in single, double, triple, and quad occupancy formats. Each room includes basic furniture, air conditioning, internet access, and common facilities such as laundry, study halls, and recreational spaces.

The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle with varied meal plans for students based on their preferences. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Monthly bills are calculated based on consumption and adjusted according to attendance.

Students can opt for rebate policies if they attend meals regularly or participate in campus activities. Rebates are credited monthly and applied to future mess bills.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The college provides various financial assistance schemes to ensure accessibility for economically disadvantaged students:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver of tuition fee and hostel charges with partial rebate on mess fees.
    • EWS Category: 50% reduction in tuition and hostel fees, along with full rebate on mess charges.
    • MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% discount on tuition fee and partial hostel charge reduction.

Eligibility is determined based on income slabs and category certificates. Applications must be submitted before the admission process begins, and all documents are verified by the financial aid committee.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees can be paid online via net banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI platforms. Alternatively, payments can be made through challans at designated banks. Late payments incur a fixed late fee of INR 500 per month.

Students who wish to withdraw from the course must submit an application form and follow the refund procedure outlined by the college administration. Refunds are processed within 30 days, subject to deductions for administrative charges and outstanding dues.
