Detailed Explanation of Each Fee Component

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and administrative support for the entire academic year. Includes fees for all core and elective courses.

Hostel Rent: Monthly rent for accommodation in campus hostels. Various room types are available, including single, double, and triple occupancy rooms.

Mess Advance: Advance payment for food services provided by the college mess. This amount is adjusted against actual consumption at the end of each month.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal contribution towards student welfare activities and emergency financial assistance programs.

Medical Fees: Covers medical consultations, basic treatments, and health-related services provided by the college infirmary.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational and physical fitness facilities including sports equipment, gym memberships, and cultural events.

Examination Fees: Required for conducting internal assessments, term-end exams, and other evaluation processes.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel system at Truba offers multiple room configurations to suit different preferences. Single occupancy rooms cost ₹12,000 per month, while double and triple rooms are priced at ₹8,000 and ₹6,000 respectively.

Mess billing is managed on a monthly basis, with students paying an advance amount based on their expected consumption. The mess provides three meals daily (breakfast, lunch, dinner) prepared by certified chefs using fresh ingredients.

Rebate policies are applicable for students who leave campus during certain days or for those studying abroad. Specific conditions must be met to qualify for these rebates, which are reviewed annually.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial aid is available through various scholarship schemes including SC/ST/PwD, EWS, and MCM categories. Eligibility criteria are defined based on income slabs:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for students from families earning below ₹1 lakh annually.
    • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for families earning between ₹1-2 lakhs annually.
    • MCM (Minority Community Member): 30% fee concession for students from recognized minority communities.

Applications must be submitted online through the college portal with supporting documents such as income certificates and caste validity proofs. Selection is based on merit combined with financial need.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees are to be paid via online banking, NEFT, or demand draft. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with late fees applicable for delayed submissions beyond the specified date. The refund policy allows students to receive refunds if they withdraw from the course within 7 days of admission.

Refunds are processed within 30 working days after verification of withdrawal documents and settlement of dues. Students must submit a formal request along with their original fee receipts and bank account details for processing.
