    Fee Components

The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction, academic resources, and access to university facilities. Hostel rent provides accommodation for students, with options for single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. The mess advance covers the cost of meals for the semester, with flexible billing options available.

The Student Benevolent Fund is a small fee collected to support students in need, including those facing financial hardships or emergencies. Medical fees cover basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center, while Gymkhana Fees contribute to recreational activities and sports facilities.

Examination fees cover the costs associated with conducting exams, including invigilation, paper setting, and result processing. These fees are collected per semester and are non-refundable.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

Hostel accommodation is available in various room types, including single, double, and triple occupancy. The hostel charges vary based on the room type and amenities provided. Students can choose to stay in air-conditioned or non-air-conditioned rooms, with additional charges for premium options.

The mess billing system is designed to be flexible, allowing students to choose between different meal plans. The monthly mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed, with options for daily, weekly, or monthly billing. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly, ensuring fair billing.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers several fee waivers and scholarships to eligible students. These include:

    • SC/ST/PwD: Students belonging to SC/ST or PwD categories receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees.
    • EWS: Students from economically weaker sections receive a 25% waiver on tuition fees.
    • MCM: Merit-cum-means scholarship for students with excellent academic performance and financial need.

Eligibility criteria for each scholarship are based on income slabs and academic performance. The application process involves submitting relevant documents and proof of income to the university's financial aid office.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payment of fees must be completed by the specified deadlines to avoid late fees. Students can pay through online banking, debit/credit cards, or demand drafts. Late fees are charged at 5% per month on the outstanding amount.

In case of withdrawal, the refund policy is as follows:

    • Before 30 days of admission: Full refund of fees.
    • Between 30 and 60 days of admission: 75% refund of fees.
    • After 60 days of admission: No refund of fees.

Students are advised to consult the finance office for detailed information on payment procedures and refund policies.
