    Application Procedure

The application process begins with registration on the official website of Birla Institute Of Applied Sciences. A valid rank from JEE Advanced or JEE Main is required for consideration.

After submitting the form, candidates must pay the application fee (INR 1500 for General category, INR 750 for SC/ST/PwD). The fee can be paid online via debit card, credit card, or net banking. Once payment is confirmed, candidates receive an acknowledgment slip which serves as proof of submission.

Following the application deadline, shortlisted candidates are notified through email and SMS. These notifications include instructions for downloading admit cards and attending the counseling session.

    Counseling Process

The counseling process involves three main stages:

    1. Document Verification: Candidates must submit original documents including 12th marksheet, passport-size photographs, category certificates (if applicable), and any other relevant paperwork. The verification process ensures that all information provided is accurate and matches the records.
    2. Seat Allotment: Based on merit scores and preferences filled by candidates, seats are allocated across various categories and branches. The allocation follows a round-robin system where higher-ranked candidates get priority in choosing their preferred choices.
    3. Joining Formalities: Once a seat is allotted, candidates must complete joining formalities including fee payment, registration, and submission of final documents. Failure to complete these steps within the stipulated time results in cancellation of the seat.
