The total fee structure for the B.Sc Nursing program spans four academic years and includes several components designed to support student welfare and education quality.

• Tuition Fee: Rs. 40,000 per semester covers instruction, library access, laboratory usage, and administrative support. This component reflects the high-quality educational resources provided by the university.
• Hostel Rent: Rs. 15,000 per semester covers accommodation in our well-maintained campus hostels. These facilities provide a safe and conducive environment for learning and personal development.
• Mess Advance: Rs. 5,000 per semester serves as an advance payment towards monthly meal expenses. This amount is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption.
• Student Benevolent Fund: Rs. 2,000 per semester contributes to financial aid for students facing unexpected hardships or emergencies. This fund supports students who require assistance with medical expenses or other urgent needs.
• Medical Fees: Rs. 1,500 per semester covers basic healthcare services provided by our on-campus health center, including consultations, vaccinations, and emergency care.
• Gymkhana Fees: Rs. 1,000 per semester supports extracurricular activities, sports facilities, and student clubs. This fee enables students to participate in fitness programs, cultural events, and social activities that enhance their overall experience.
• Examination Fees: Rs. 2,000 per semester covers examination-related costs including test materials, grading, transcript issuance, and certification services.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at C U Shah University Surendranagar are designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students pursuing their nursing education. Hostels offer single, double, and triple occupancy rooms with modern amenities including air conditioning, Wi-Fi connectivity, study tables, and common areas.

Room types include:

• Single Occupancy Room: Rs. 15,000 per semester for a private room with attached bathroom facilities.
• Double Occupancy Room: Rs. 12,000 per semester shared between two students with separate study spaces and common areas.
• Triple Occupancy Room: Rs. 10,000 per semester for three students sharing a room with shared bathroom facilities.

The mess billing system is managed through an integrated digital platform that allows students to monitor their consumption and make payments easily. Monthly bills are generated based on actual meals consumed, ensuring transparency and fairness in cost allocation.

Rebate policies apply for students who do not use certain services or have specific dietary requirements. These rebates can be claimed during the monthly billing cycle upon submission of valid documentation to the hostel management office.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to SC/ST or PwD categories are eligible for full tuition fee waivers. Additional concessions may be granted based on income levels and family circumstances.
• EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees along with partial concessions on other charges. Applications must include income certificates and proof of residence.
• MCM (Meritorious Candidate Merit): Top performers in NEET or equivalent exams may qualify for merit-based scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition fees. Selection is based on rank, academic performance, and extracurricular achievements.

Application procedures involve submitting relevant documents such as caste certificates, income proofs, medical reports, and academic transcripts. The university maintains a dedicated scholarship committee that reviews applications annually and disburses financial aid accordingly.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

The payment of fees must be completed within the stipulated deadlines to ensure uninterrupted access to academic services. Late payments incur a penalty fee of Rs. 1,000 per day beyond the due date.

Students can make payments through online banking, credit/debit cards, or net banking platforms. The university also provides options for installment plans to ease financial burden during the academic year.

In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies are strictly enforced based on the duration of enrollment and reasons for departure. Full refunds are processed within 60 days for withdrawals made before the start of the semester, with deductions for administrative costs and hostel charges.
