Curriculum Overview

The Law program at Dr Subhash University Junagadh is structured over three years, with each year comprising two semesters. Students are required to complete a series of mini-projects during their second year and a final capstone project or thesis in their fourth year under the supervision of faculty mentors.

Project-Based Learning Philosophy

The Law program at Dr Subhash University Junagadh promotes project-based learning as a means to bridge theory and practice. Students begin working on their first mini-project in the second semester, typically focusing on current legal issues or case studies relevant to their chosen specialization.

Mini-projects are designed to develop analytical thinking, research capabilities, and communication skills. Each project is supervised by a faculty member who provides guidance throughout the process and evaluates the final deliverables based on criteria including originality, relevance, depth of analysis, and presentation quality.

The capstone project or thesis in the fourth year allows students to conduct independent research on a topic they are passionate about. This involves selecting a mentor, designing a research methodology, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting findings in a formal academic paper or presentation. The process is supported by our dedicated research center, which provides access to databases, workshops, and seminars.
