    • International Commercial Arbitration: Introduces students to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in international trade. It includes training on arbitration procedures, enforcement of awards, and cross-border legal practices.
    • Criminal Procedure: Explores the procedural aspects of criminal justice, including investigation, trial processes, plea bargaining, and appeals. Students study case law from various jurisdictions to understand best practices in criminal procedure.
    • Family Law: Examines marriage, divorce, child custody, adoption, domestic violence, and other family-related legal issues. It includes a comparative study of laws across different cultures and societies.

    Project-Based Learning Philosophy

The department believes that project-based learning is essential for developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and practical competencies in legal practice. Students are encouraged to work on real-world problems through group projects, individual research papers, and capstone thesis work.

The mandatory mini-projects are assigned at the end of each semester and must be completed under faculty supervision. These projects involve identifying a legal issue, conducting research, drafting arguments, and presenting findings in front of peers and faculty members.

For the final-year thesis or capstone project, students choose a topic of personal interest or relevance to current legal challenges. They are paired with faculty mentors who guide them through the research process, from initial proposal to final submission. The evaluation criteria include originality of approach, depth of analysis, clarity of writing, and adherence to academic standards.
