    Detailed Breakdown of Fee Components

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, administrative costs, and access to digital resources including online libraries, research databases, and learning management systems.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with shared facilities such as washrooms, common rooms, and study areas. Room types vary from single occupancy to triple sharing options.

Mess Advance: A fixed amount collected at the beginning of each semester to cover monthly meal expenses. The mess operates on a monthly billing cycle where students are charged based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributes towards scholarships, emergency financial aid, and community service initiatives. This fund supports underprivileged students and promotes extracurricular activities.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical checkups, health counseling, and access to the university’s health center for minor treatments. Students are encouraged to maintain personal insurance coverage for major health concerns.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports facilities, fitness programs, and wellness activities offered by the student union. These fees fund gym memberships, equipment maintenance, and inter-college competitions.

Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting semester-end exams, including exam paper printing, invigilation, and result processing.

    Hostel & Mess Charges

The university provides three types of hostels: single occupancy rooms (₹40,000/year), double occupancy rooms (₹35,000/year), and triple occupancy rooms (₹30,000/year). Each room includes basic furniture and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Mess charges are calculated on a monthly basis. Students pay an advance amount upfront, which is adjusted at the end of the month based on actual consumption. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner with options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they leave campus during the semester or are absent due to valid reasons such as illness or family emergencies.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Students from SC/ST/PwD categories are eligible for fee waivers up to 100% based on income slabs. EWS students receive a 50% concession, while MCM (Minority Community Members) beneficiaries get a 25% reduction in fees.

Scholarships are available for meritorious students scoring above 90% in 12th-grade examinations and those who qualify in JEE Advanced or Main. These scholarships cover partial or full tuition fees depending on performance and need.

The application process involves submitting scanned copies of documents including income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and academic transcripts. Applications are reviewed by the financial aid committee and notified within two weeks of submission.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via net banking or credit/debit cards before the deadline specified each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹1000 per day until clearance is made.

If a student withdraws from the program, refund procedures are initiated after verification of reasons. A 5% processing fee applies to refunds, and certain components like examination fees and medical charges are non-refundable.

Students who complete the academic year without withdrawal receive full refunds for hostel rent and mess advance upon departure, subject to adherence to all university rules and regulations.
