    Hostel & Mess Charges

The mess system operates on an advance payment model where students pay for meals throughout the academic year. The billing is done monthly based on consumption, and refunds are processed at the end of the year if any excess payments were made.

    Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The institute offers various financial aid programs to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

    • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to SC/ST or PwD categories are eligible for a 100% fee waiver, covering all components of the annual fee.
    • EWS Category: Students from Economically Weaker Sections receive a 50% fee concession on tuition and hostel charges, excluding mess advance and other recurring fees.
    • MCM (Merit Cum Means): Merit-based scholarships are awarded to top-performing students in the first year of admission, covering up to 75% of the annual fee.
    • Need-Based Scholarships: Additional support is available for students facing financial hardships, with applications reviewed by a dedicated committee.

The application process for these financial aids involves submitting relevant documents such as income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and academic transcripts. Applications must be submitted before the deadline specified by the institute.

    Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made through multiple modes including online banking, credit/debit cards, and NEFT/RTGS transfers. A detailed payment schedule is communicated to students at the beginning of each academic year, outlining due dates for each installment.

Late payments attract a penalty fee of ₹500 per day, which accumulates until the outstanding amount is cleared. In exceptional cases, students may request a waiver or reduction in late fees upon submission of supporting documents.

Refunds are processed according to the following rules:

    • Withdrawal Before Academic Year Begins: Full refund minus a processing fee of ₹10,000 is provided if withdrawal occurs before the start of the academic year.
    • Withdrawal During Academic Year: Refund is calculated based on the number of months remaining in the academic year, with deductions for administrative charges and facility usage fees.
    • Refund Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 30 days of receiving a complete withdrawal application.
