    Admission Process

The admission process for the Agriculture program at Pes University Bangalore is designed to be transparent, fair, and aligned with national standards. Applications are accepted through two primary channels: JEE Advanced (for candidates who have appeared in JEE Main) and direct admission based on 12th-grade performance (for candidates who have cleared their qualifying examination).

    For JEE Advanced applicants:

    1. Candidates must first register for JEE Advanced and appear for the exam.
    2. Based on their rank in JEE Advanced, eligible candidates can apply for admission to Pes University through the official counseling portal.
    3. Seats are allocated based on merit within each category (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD).
    4. Candidates must complete the online seat acceptance process within the specified deadline.

    For direct admission:

    1. Candidates must have completed their 12th-grade examination or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (PCM).
    2. Applications are submitted through the university's online portal during the designated application window.
    3. Admission is granted based on merit within each category.
    4. Candidates must attend a counseling session to finalize their seat allocation.

    • Start early with a structured study plan focusing on core subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
    • Practice previous years' question papers and take mock tests to improve time management skills.
    • Focus on conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.
    • Stay updated with current affairs related to agriculture and technology trends.
    • Join online coaching platforms or local study groups for peer support and guidance.

    Counseling Strategy:

    • Research the cutoff ranks of previous years to understand the competitive landscape.
    • Create a preference list of colleges based on your rank, category, and location preferences.
    • Ensure you have all required documents ready before the counseling process begins.
    • Attend the counseling session in person or virtually if allowed by the authorities.
    • Be prepared to accept seats even if they are not your first choice due to limited availability.
